North54 org structure details<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n

Our Association is an umbrella Group for the Little Athapap Cottage Owners Association and the Schist Lake\/Big Island Cottage Owners Association.<\/span><\/strong>
\nIt is an incorporated, non-profit association run by volunteers.\u00a0 N54bylaws<\/em><\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Our History<\/span><\/strong>
\nThe Little Athapap and Schist Lake\/Big island cottage owners associations have been around for a number of years.<\/span><\/strong>
\nThey have been the voice of the cottagers for many years. In 2013 potential annexation by the City of Flin Flon for<\/span><\/strong>
\nsome or all of the cottage areas south of the city, grew loud. It was decided by the Cottage Associations and their<\/span><\/strong>
\nmemberships that a unified voice to deal with this and other concerns affecting both associations was needed.<\/span><\/strong>
\nIn 2014 the North of 54 Cottage Association Inc. was formed to deal specifically with and to block potential<\/span><\/strong>
\nannexation of any part of the development area by the City of Flin Flon and such other matters of common concern<\/span><\/strong>
\nas agreed upon by the two Cottage Associations.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The cottage area is diverse, with cottages that are road accessible, some only by water, some in the Bakers Narrows<\/span><\/strong>
\nProvincial Park, most outside the park. Some are on properties that are owned and some on properties that are<\/span><\/strong>
\nleased. While many cottages are for seasonal use, many are being used for year round use.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The area we call home is not just for cottagers. There are lodges, the Provincial Park, and many lakes for all to enjoy.<\/span><\/strong>
\nCome and visit. You won\u2019t be disappointed.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
